Question of the day (part 4)

'Question of the day' has been a popular feature over the years on many serious discussion programs and radio shows. These questions can cover serious topics, but they can also be silly!

A donkey reveals the worst advice it ever received.
With that in mind, this week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog features another mix of serious and silly questions of the day designed to stimulate the mind...

Serious:

1) What's the worst advice you ever received?

Silly:

2) If an under 18 year old accidentally broke a bottle of beer at the supermarket, could they make him pay for it? And if so, would the supermarket then get prosecuted?

Serious:

3) Would you rather be an idiot who everyone thinks is a genius, or a genius that everyone thinks is an idiot?

Silly:

4) If you're an earl and you get an O.B.E., do you become an earlobe?

Serious:

5) Here's a question which I've genuinely wondered the answer to. On a keyboard why are the letters jumbled up, yet the numbers are in order?

Foolish observer: "Wow! I never realized snakes had arms!"
Editor's note: "Why don't you just google it, Charles?"
Charles: "Perhaps I already have..."
Editor: "What's the answer then?"
Charles: "Why don't you just google it?"

Silly:

6) Do snakes have long necks or long tails?

Serious:

7) If you could choose one TV series that would get a spin off series, which would you choose?

Silly

8) Do caterpillars know they're going to be butterflies, or do they just pop out of their cocoon one morning and think, "Whoa! What happened here!?"

Serious:

'Dog' food.
9) Is the death penalty a greater deterrent than life in prison?

Silly:

10) When dog food is advertised as 'new and improved', who tasted it to test it?

If you've ever asked yourself the question, "Where can I buy a book about a robot designed to eliminate suffering?" then you're in luck! The answer is 'from Amazon'!

'Ezra: The Elimination Of Suffering Robot' is one such book which fulfills the criteria specified in the question mentioned above.
