Silly bus displays

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog takes a look at buses. Now you're probably thinking, 'Buses? How boring!', and admittedly, buses generally aren't very interesting or amusing.

However, the buses featured this week are! Each of the buses in this week's blog post has been chosen because of its noteworthy display...

1) Bussy McBusface

To start things off, here's an appropriately named bus from Glasgow driven by a bus driver with a sense of humour...

"Bussy McBusface"

2) Sandwich Deal

Next up is a bus presumably sponsored by Greggs...

Sandwich Deal
"I'll have a egg and cress sandwich, a packet of
beef crisps, and a can of lemonade please."

In actual fact this is from a bus route in Kent near Dover, where apparently there are local villages named Sandwich and Deal.

As you can see from the sign, there's also a village named Ham, so the bus route could even have been called Ham Sandwich Deal!

3) Fast and Frequent

Vin Diesel brings the Fast and Furious franchise to Stansted Airport...

"Fast And Frequent"

"The doors open at the same time I pull this trigger."

4) Sorry, Not In Service

You have to wonder, was the 'Sorry. Not In Service' notification really necessary?

"You can't park there, mate!"

I'm pretty sure passengers could work out for themselves that the bus wasn't in service.

5) Rail replacement. I'm a train, choo choo.

Next up we take a break from buses and feature instead a train, apparently... **shifty eyes***

"I'm a train, choo choo!"

Admittedly, that's a train that looks suspiciously like a coach, but I'm sure the display wouldn't lie.

6) Woking 925

Finally, this last bus driver is presumably a fan of Dolly Parton.

Woking 925

"Woking 925! What a way to make a living!"

You can find more buses on your local bus routes, but sadly, they most likely won't have displays as amusing as those featured above!

This is my first blog post on the theme of buses, so unfortunately I don't have any 'related posts'. So instead, here's some unrelated blog posts:
