Liars caught in the act (part 3)

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog focuses on the implications of AI based decision making on the future of space exploration, paying particular attention to the challenges and opportunities presented, as well as the technological and logistical hurdles faced.

Actually, that's not true. That was a lie. Oops, caught in the act!

By a fortunate coincidence*, what this week's blog post actually takes a look at is other liars who were also caught in the act.

* Actually, that was another lie. As you may have guessed, it wasn't a coincidence at all. It was actually quite deliberate.

1) Truck liar

We fit.

2) AI liar

It's not just humans who are liars. AI can also be a liar too.

"Are you lying?"
"No, I'm not lying. I don't have access to your location."
"Where's the closest McDonalds?"
"There's a McDonalds very close to you. It's located right on Young Street in Tonawanda."

3) Breakfast liar

If ever a breakfast was misleadingly named then it's this one...

4) Location liar

Hmm, I never realized that the Sydney Opera House was located in Paris...

"My boyfriend made a promise that we would visit Paris and lock a padlock to this very bridge, throwing away the key. A symbolic gesture of our love and commitment. He is my soul, my life, my reason for fighting."

"That's Australia."

Also, 'he is my reason for fighting'? It's hardly a compliment to say that someone makes you fight!

5) Intelligent liar

This next person got 125 on their IQ test! Wow! That's impressive!

However, eagle eyed readers may have spotted a clue that perhaps they weren't being entirely honest. Did you spot the subtle clue?

"I scored 85 in the IQ test."

6) Name liar

Here's a friendly troll introducing himself on a menu.

7) Telephone liar

This next example has got to be one of the most annoying lies of all, and I suspect it's a lie that most people have experienced at one time or another...

8) Lying liar

When reality doesn't fit your agenda, just lie about it!

"It would have been even nicer if you had also reported how friendly and competent you were looked after by our team at your seat in first class."

I'm sure this was just a one off lie though, and I'm sure she definitely wouldn't lie about anything else. **shifty eyes**
