This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog features a few examples of cakes that didn't quite turn out exactly as expected.
1) Weeding cake
I love spending time in the garden, but surely ordering a cake to celebrate doing the gardening is going a bit over the top...

"Congratulations on your weeding!"
Editor's note: "Charles, I think it was supposed to say, 'Congratulations on your wedding.'"
Charles: "Oh, right. Yeah, that makes more sense. Although I have to say, it is really satisfying when you've got rid of all the weeds."
2) Taking things literally (part 1)
This next cake demonstrates the importance of knowing when not to take things literally...

Bakery: "What would you like the cake to say?"
Customer: "Just write happy birthday."
Bakery: "Okay, no problem."
3) Translation services bakery
Here's another birthday cake where it didn't turn out quite like the customer intended...

"Happy birthday in Spanish."
I presume, "Feliz cumpleanos!" was what they were hoping for. To be fair though, you can't expect a bakery to also provide language translation services too! That would be a strange combination!
4) Dessert cake
This next customer asked for a 'dessert' cake...

...but to be fair, a 'desert' cake isn't too far away.
5) Taking things literally (part 2)
The message on this next cake sounds like a mistake that AI might make, but I can't understand how a human could interpret the instructions so literally...

"Happy 40th Zoe with two dots over the E."
6) Apology cake
Finally, I wonder what the back story was behind this next cake...

"Sorry I set you on fire."
Well at least they didn't set the cake on fire!
