Cats and dogs (part 6)

Cats and dogs make the world a better place. Following on from that logic, cats and dogs must also make a blog a better place!

So this week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog pays tribute to cats and dogs with another blog post dedicated to our furry friends.

Let's get things rolling with some canine inspired relationship advice.

1) Find someone who looks at you the way this dog looks at the barbecue...

"Would you like your steak rare or well done?"
"Yes."

2) If a dog is man's best friend, what is a cat?

Man's master, judging by my experience.

3) What do you call a dog that floats?

A good buoy.

4) First we had relationship advice inspired by dogs. Now we have fashion advice inspired by cats.

"Life is too short to worry about matching socks."

5) Elevators must be crazy for dogs. They just enter a small room, a door closes, that same door opens, and all of a sudden they are teleported to a totally different place!

6) If the Earth was flat, cats would have pushed everything off it by now.

7) This is why dogs would get thrown out of comedy shows...

A joke that accurately reflects real life.

"Knock, knock."
"Woof! Woof, woof, woof! Woof, woof! Woof, woof, woof, woof!"

8) What did the cat say when it got stuck in the box?

Let meow!

9) Dogs hear us talking all day, but if they bark for more than a few seconds we tell them to stop.

10) To end things on a happy note, look at the sheer joy on this dog's face as it eats an ice cream!

I think that's the happiest dog I've ever seen in all my life!

I remember my parents used to buy ice creams for their pet dogs, and they would get so excited when they heard the ice cream van jingle!* One time they were so excited that they were just running round and round the living room for about thirty seconds before they eventually calmed down enough to actually sit still long enough to eat the ice creams!

* Their dogs, not my parents.
