Faces in things (Star Wars edition)

We're only a few days away from Star Wars Day (or May The Fourth Be With You Day, as it's also known), so that means it's time for another Star Wars themed blog post.

This week I take a look at Star Wars related pareidolia, or Star Wars faces in things for people who don't like long words! Collected below are a variety of Star Wars characters found in various objects and items, starting with a familiar coffee maker...

1) Darth Vader

"Luke, I am your coffee maker!"

Decaf Vader

"I find your lack of milk and sugar disturbing."

2) Jabba The Hutt

Here's Jabba's distant cousin, Jabba the Ham...

"Ho, ho, ho!"

"Bring me Ham Solo and the wookie!"

3) C3PO

This headphones packaging looks like a rather surprised C3PO.

"The possibility of successfully untangling your headphones cable is approximately three thousand seven hundred and twenty to one!”

4) Maz Kanata

The Star Wars characters featured so far have been three of the most famous characters from the original trilogy, but this next photo features a less well known character...

It's Maz Kanata from The Force Awakens, and she's hiding in a wall.

5) Millennium Falcon

Star Wars features some memorable characters, but it also features cool spaceships, and there's none cooler than the Millennium Falcon.

Bonus Millennium Falcon joke:

Han Solo and Yoda were flying in the Millennium Falcon.
Han: "Are you sure we're going the right way?"
Yoda: "Off course we are."

6) Chewbacca

Finally, to round things off, here's everyone's favourite wookie, Chewbacca. Or should that be, Cashewbacca.

Of course as I'm sure all nut experts are aware, it's not actually a cashew nut. It's a waaaaraaawrlnut.

For the benefit of any non-Star Wars fans who've never seen Chewbacca before, I can confirm that it really is an amazing likeness, as you can see from the photo below...

"Waaaaraaawrlnut!"

N.B. For the benefit of stupid people, that's not what Chewbacca really looks like. I actually photoshopped the nut shell onto his head.

That's it for this week, but if you'd like to see more pareidolia themed photos, then check out the links below:
