During testing times it's more important than ever to keep a smile on your face. As someone once said, "The world is full of horrible things. Laughter is a universal way to lift your head up and say, 'Not today.'"

So with that in mind, here are a selection of corona virus themed memes, jokes and observations which brought a smile to my face at a time when the world certainly needs smiles...

1) Take no chances!

One brave person is generously offering to save people from the risk of infection via cash...

We all have to do our bit, so if anyone else is worried about the risk of infection from handling their cash, feel free to send it my way!

3) Panic buying (part 1)

During the early days of the corona virus, people started panic buying toilet paper leading to shortages in some supermarkets.

In fact the panic buying became so bad that at one stage the following 'bargain' was spotted on eBay...

"What a bargain! I'll take five, please!"

I like the fact that they're even charging an extra £2.90 for the postage!

4) Increased value

Some kids toilet papered my house last night.

It’s now worth £3.4 million.

5) Commemorative Lego set

The toilet paper panic buying was even memorialised in a special limited edition Lego set...

6) Empty shelves

Although the panic buying started off with toilet paper, it did then briefly spread to food items, with empty shelves found in some supermarkets. However, not all food was sold out.

My friend joked, "Even when there's no other food people still don't want to eat vegan food!"

He's actually a vegan himself*, so it was nice that he could see the funny side.

* He may have mentioned it briefly on one or two rare occasions. #sarcasm

7) A joke for older people

John Travolta has become the latest celebrity to contract the corona virus.

His symptoms are described as chills that are multiplying.

8) Dubious statistics

If their statistics are anything to go by, it would seem that the Chinese regime have appointed Chemical Ali to monitor the corona virus in China...

Wise advice for anyone who doesn't want to be 'disappeared'.

9) Aptronym

Russia have released details regarding their latest case of the corona virus.

The patient has been identified as Ivor Chestikov.

10) Wash your hands!

Finally, to end things on a serious note, always remember to wash your hands!
