Faces in things (Batman edition)

I always used to wonder why the citizens of Metropolis didn't realize that Clark Kent is Superman. After all, surely a pair of glasses can't be that good of a disguise. However, I then went to a work reunion, and I completely didn't recognize my old boss, just because he had started wearing glasses. So maybe the people of Metropolis aren't as stupid as I thought.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm waffling on about Superman, because this week's blog post is on the theme of Batman, as we round up a pareodolia themed collection of random images that look like Batman.

1) Bat-Iceberg

To start things off, here's an iceberg that looks suspiciously like a certain caped crusader. Or maybe it's Mr Freeze. Anyway, I expect the Penguin will be close by.

Batman: "If you want just-ice*, you have to become it."

* Justice.

Editor's note: "Charles, was the 'just-ice' explanation really necessary? After all, your readers are very intelligent. I'm sure they could work out that it was a pun on the word justice."
Charles: "Yes, most readers are very intelligent, but I thought I'd better explain it just in case Bob from Milton Keynes was reading this."
Editor: "Oh, yes. Fair point. Bob from Milton keynes isn't too bright, so perhaps it's best to explain it after all."

2) Bat-Yawn

Even heroes get tired. As shown by this next image of Batman yawning.

Looks like it's time for a Bat-nap.

3) Bat-Wolverine

We interrupt this blog post to bring you an image of Wolverine. Or is it two Batmans staring each other down?

Or maybe it's a mirror and Batman is staring at his reflection, while the sun sets in the background.

4) Bat-Cap

Here's an image where the shadow from a fuel cap looks like Batman ... or as he's also known, the capped crusader.

Looks like he's about to put a lid on crime.

5) Bat-Money

Whoever designed the US dollar was perhaps a Batman fan.

If you don't immediately spot it, then take a closer look at the E in 'one dollar'.

6) Bat-Dog

Finally, Superman fans may know that there's a Super-Dog which is part of the Superman family, but did you know that there's also a Bat-Dog which is part of the Batman family?

Bat-Dog ... the Bark Knight.

Legal disclaimer: If by a random coincidence anyone called Bob from Milton Keynes does happen to be reading this blog post, then please note that the mention of 'Bob from Milton Keynes' was just intended as a silly joke, and not as an actual assessment of Bob's intelligence level. I'm sure in real life that any Bobs from Milton Keynes are really intelligent. **shifty eyes**
