Random Star Wars thoughts (part 3)

It's become something of a tradition on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog to mark each Star Wars Day (May 4th) with a Star Wars themed blog post, and this year is no different.

Darth Midi-chloriansson, as he's known in Iceland.
This week's Star Wars themed blog post features another random selection of miscellaneous Star Wars themed thoughts.

1) Under the Icelandic naming system, Luke Skywalker would have been called Luke Vaderson.

Presumably, Darth Vader would have been called Darth Midi-chloriansson.

2) Yoda: "Do or do not. There is no try."
Obi-wan: "Only a Sith deals in absolutes."

Obi-Wan just accused Yoda of being a Sith!

3) For someone raised on a desert planet with two suns, Luke Skywalker doesn't have much of a tan.

4) The Lego star wars animated series is an animation of a computer game of a toy of a movie.

Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Editor's note: "I didn't know Obi-Wan wore glasses."
Charles: "He usually wears contact lenses, but he wears glasses
occasionally between scenes when the cameras aren't running."

5) When Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi were plotting to hide Luke from Darth Vader, they probably shouldn't have named him Skywalker!

Related conversation...

Obi-Wan Kenobi: "I'll hide Luke Skywalker on Tatooine so that Darth Vader doesn't find him."
Yoda: "Wait, shouldn't we maybe change Luke's surname, to ensure the Empire can't track him down?"
Obi-Wan: "I'm sure it'll be fine. I can't imagine that Darth Vader, formerly Anakin Skywalker, will make the connection."

6) The reason there's never any blood in Star Wars movies is because all the lasers and lightsabers would cauterize the wounds instantly.

7) Force Ghost Yoda needed a cane and nobody questioned it.

8) A New Hope is the first, fourth and sixth Star Wars movie all at the same time.

It was the first Star Wars movie to be made, it's Episode IV in the main sequence of movies, and it's the sixth movie chronologically (Episodes 1 to 3, Han Solo, Rogue One, then A New Hope).

Chewbacca, pictured on Hoth during his retirement years.

Editor's note: "Charles, that's not Chewbacca. It's a yeti."
Charles: "Yes, I know, but it's all our budget would
stretch to, so hopefully nobody will notice."

9) Does Chewbacca use shampoo or body wash?

10) If anyone started choking on their food at a dinner with Darth Vader, the other guests would assume that Vader was the one doing it, so no one would step in to help the person choking.

The theme of Star Wars memorabilia features very loosely in my short story, 'Wagon Wheels, Star Wars Memorabilia and the Nice Ham,' so if you enjoy short stories which loosely feature Star Wars memorabilia, then you may wish to check it out.

Update: For the foreseeable future, I'll be posting on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog on a monthly basis, rather than a weekly basis.
