Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 5)

Regular readers of the Charles Fudgemuffin blog may be aware that on some occasions I find amusement in things that aren't intended to be funny. This week's blog post is another round up of items fitting that description.

1) Dog drawing contest

To start things off, here's a dog drawing contest that made me laugh.

"Remember that the winner of this contest was chosen through likes."

Personally, I don't understand why they felt the need to clarify how the winner was chosen. Surely the artistic brilliance of the winner would have shone through whatever method they used?

Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 4)

I have a weird sense of humour, so from time to time on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog, I like to highlight things that weren't meant to be funny, but which nevertheless appealed to my weird sense of humour.

Here are a few more things that unintentionally made me laugh...

1) Realistic Dinosaurs

First up, here's a video on YouTube which features dinosaur sounds. What made me laugh, was that it asks you to listen to the dinosaur sounds, and then rate how realistic they sound!

"Wow! That triceratops roar sounded just like the triceratops I heard in the park this morning."

Unless there are some extremely old people using YouTube, then I suspect rating dinosaur sounds for realism may prove a little tricky.

Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 3: stupid criminals)

From time to time I like to look at things that weren't supposed to be funny, but which my weird sense of humour nevertheless found amusing. This week it's the turn of criminals and potential criminals, with this week's blog post focusing on three unintentionally amusing lawbreakers and potential lawbreakers. As a sevice to any similar minded potential criminals reading this blog post, I've also included some advice for each example.

To start things off, here's a story which had me chuckling away to myself at the absurdity of the criminal in question...

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog
takes a look at foolish criminals.

1) Breach of contract

This is so ridiculous that you'll think I'm making it up, so look it up if you don't believe me. The story involves a woman who hired a hitman to kill her boyfriend for her. However, things didn't go to plan when instead the hitman kept the money and didn't kill her boyfriend.

Now I don't know what most people would do in a situation like this, because most people wouldn't hire a hitman in the first place. However, I know what most people wouldn't do, and that's report the hitman to the police. Yet that's exactly what this crazy woman did! She contacted the police to report the hitman for breach of contract!

Presumably the conversation must have went something like this...

Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 2: How to survive an ice age)

I recently watched a very amusing TV show which I felt deserved credit for how much it unintentionally made me laugh. The show in question is Snowpiercer, so here's a short summary of the plot:

"Oh no! There's an ice age. What shall we do?"
"I know! Let's build a train!"
Scientists try to save the world, but it turns out they're clueless muppets and they end up making an ice age by mistake. So to survive, mankind decides to build a train that goes round and round the world.

You know, as you do when there's an ice age!

I imagine the planning stage, when faced with this ice age, went something like this:

Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 1: 'Cute' dog names)

A cute dog, but what cute name can we give him?
This week's blog post focuses on a random website I came across one day which unintentionally made me laugh. To further explain, the website wasn't supposed to be funny, but my easily amused brain nevertheless found it very amusing.

The website in question was a website called 'Cute Dog Names', and as you might have already guessed, it's a website which generates a random selection of cute dog names for anyone looking for a cute name for their new puppy. It sounds like a cool idea, but I have to say, the website's idea of a cute dog name, and my idea of a cute dog name, are somewhat different.

To illustrate what I mean, take a look at some of the allegedly 'cute' dog names it suggested...
