The Hypocrite Awards

If there's one thing that annoys me more than anything else, it's bloggers that start their articles with a moan!

On an unrelated note **shifty eyes**, something else which annoys me is hypocrites. This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog highlights some of the many hypocrites found in the world...

1) Hypocritical Geographic

The first ever Hypocrite Award goes to National Geographic for sending out an issue that warns about the damage caused by plastic bags. As if to demonstrate the problem, that issue itself was delivered inside a plastic bag!

To make it even worse, the magazine itself was plastic sealed, and then put into a plastic bag, so it came inside two plastic bags!

From my own experience, magazines seem to come in paper envelopes nowadays, so it appears National Geographic's hypocrisy is hopefully becoming a thing of the past.

2) Hypocritical label

Next up, I suspect this next example of hypocrisy was entirely intentional...

"Don't let anyone put a label on you."

Do as I say, not as I do!

3) Hypocritical compliance officer

During the communist lockdowns of the last two years, there were many examples of politicians and bureaucrats making up ridiculous idiotic laws, and then breaking their own stupid laws.

Here's a photo which shows that the hypocrisy went right the way down the chain with a WuFlu compliance officer showing what he thinks of social distancing...

Someone employed to check that every day citizens are following the government's unscientific rules, and he doesn't even follow the rules himself! What are the odds!?

Maybe he was on a break.

4) Hypocritical sign

I'm sure you'll agree, this next Hypocrite Award is another thoroughly deserving winner. Well, if he's still alive to receive it, that is.

5) Hypocritical cameras

Here's another example of 'Do as I say, not as I do.'

"The use of cameras is prohibited ... and we'll use cameras to ensure you follow this rule!"

6) Hypocritical restaurant

Finally, this restaurant wanted to do their bit for the environment, so they banned plastic straws. Can anyone spot the hypocrisy?
