Random multiple choice quiz

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog features a random multiple choice quiz. However, whereas most multiple choice quizzes serve a serious purpose, such as a survey or a test, this multiple choice quiz consists purely of random silly questions which my easily amused brain found amusing!

Take a look at the following questions, and see how many you can guess correctly. Or maybe you're really clever and you don't need to guess!

1) Lobster woman

To start things off, here's a photo of a woman on a boat, but what is she doing?

Lobster woman.

A) Using her super powers to summon a lobster out of the sea into the boat.
B) Controlling a rather basic glove puppet to amuse a flying lobster.
C) Using sign language to inform the lobster of the latest football news.
D) Throwing a lobster back into the sea.

2) Egg on toast

Next up, here's a photo which was posted on Instabook. As you can see, it's a photo of fried egg on toast, but how did the Instabooker describe his meal?

I've redacted the actual description to avoid giving away the answer.

A) Egg on toast.
B) Fried egg on toast.
C) Fried egg on toast with pepper.
D) Meridian peanut butter on toast with a local free range egg fried in vita coconut oil with black pepper on wholemeal bread.

A stunning diamond.
That's not a clue to the answer by the way.

3) Wheel Of Fortune

On a recently aired episode of Wheel Of Fortune, the voiceover described one of the prizes as 'stunning'.

What was the 'stunning' prize they were referring to?

A) Jewellery.
B) A chandelier.
C) A wedding dress.
D) Power tools.

Once again, I've redacted the answer.

Editor's note: "Charles, you should work for the FBI!"

4) Two is company

Next up is a proverb featured in a vintage card game.

As you can see, the proverb begins 'Two is company...', but according to the vintage card game, what is the full proverb?

A) Two is company, three's a crowd.
B) Two is company, all in one basket.
C) Two is company, comes before a fall.
D) Two is company, three is none.

5) Population

Here's a question which should prove quite simple for anyone who knows their geography. How many people live in this red circle?

For some reason, whoever created this map has missed off Japan,
so apologies on behalf of this map creator to the people of Japan.

A) Over 3 billion.
B) 1 billion.
C) 42.
D) Zero.

6) Strange cow

Finally, to round things off on a silly note, what is the cow doing in this photo?

"Coming! Ready or not!"

A) She's counting to ten while the other cows hide.
B) She's being punished by her teacher for making silly remarks in class.
C) She's a new environmentally friendly breed of plug-in hybrid cow.
D) None of the above.

Answers:

The correct answer was D for every question!

Where applicable, I've provided proof or an explanation below:

1) Lobster woman

I don't have proof, other than common sense, but the lobster woman was of course throwing a lobster back into the sea.

2) Egg on toast

The Instabooker descrbed their meal as "Meridian peanut butter on toast with a local free range egg fried in vita coconut oil with black pepper on wholemeal bread." Here's the proof:

Editor's note: "Charles, technically speaking, that's not proof. You could have photoshopped it."
Charles: "Fortunately, I'm a man of outstanding integrity, so readers can rest assured
that no sneaky deceptive photoshop skills were used in the making of this photo."

3) Wheel Of Fortune

Surprisingly, it was the power tools that the voiceover descrived as 'stunning'.

Wow! Stunning!

4) Two is company

I had only heard of the proverb, 'Two's company, three's a crowd', but apparently the vintage card game preferred, 'Two is company, three is none.' Presumably card makers in the olden days must have been a bit weird.

Once again, my exceptional integrity is
your guarantee that the photo is genuine.

5) Population

For the population, the correct answer is of course zero because it's a picture and nobody can live in a picture!

Nobody lives in this picture.

6) Strange cow

Although I can't be absolutely certain what the cow actually was doing, I can nevertheless be certain that she wasn't doing any of the silly suggestions in answers A, B and C!

How did you do?

5-6   Great work! You're obviously an expert at answering random useless multiple choice questions!
2-4   Not bad, but there's room for improvement. You need to work harder on your knowledge of random useless subjects.
0-1   Either that was either a very poor effort, or perhaps the 'D' key is broken on your keyboard.
7+   Impressive! However, there were only six questions, so either you can't count, or you lack the high levels of integrity possessed by myself.
