10 funny quiz show answers (part 9)

As confirmed by my eight previous blog posts on the subject of funny quiz show answers, there are many occasions when quiz show contestants gave answers that were amusingly silly. This week I feature ten more silly answers, but first, here's some advice for the contestant who gave the first answer. Always listen carefully to the question.
Personally, I prefer to toast marshmallows,
rather than people, over a fire.

1) "Has London hosted the Olympic Games twice or three times?"
"Once."

2) "Name a way of toasting someone."
"Over a fire."

3) "What is the name given to the condition where the sufferer can fall asleep at any time?"
"Nostalgia."

4) "Name something in your house you would yell at if it stopped working."
"My spouse."

Fish love.
That well known phrase.
5) Here's a word puzzle from Wheel Of Fortune:

_ I S H
L _ _ _

Contestant: "Fish love."
Host: "I'm sorry, the correct answer is actually 'wish list'."

6) "What stinging insect is an anagram of the word 'swap'?"
"Bee."

7) "Name a song made famous by Tom Jones."
"Come on Eileen."

8) "The Brooklyn Bridge connects Brooklyn with which other district of New York?"
"Los Angeles."

It must be a very long bridge!
Can you spot the yellow fruit?

9) "Name a yellow fruit."
"Orange."

Orange!? Surely the clue is in the name!

10) Finally, on The Weakest Link, it wasn't the contestant's answer that was silly, it was their choice of who to vote off. On one show, one of the contestants voted for Frank as the weakest link.

There was just one problem. Frank had already been voted off in the previous round! As you can imagine, Anne Robinson was very sympathetic, and not at all sarcastic about it.
