Some of the following time travel thoughts get quite complicated, so I recommend reading the following with a clear head.
What effect would time travel have on eyesight? |
Since the photons would be frozen, would you have to walk around just to see, using your eyes like scoops to collect the visions fixed in the air in front of you?
2) Once time travel is invented, will it have always existed?
3) In 2016, Leicester City won the English Premier League at odds of 5,000-1. No one placed a bet of more than £25 which probably suggests that the secret of time travel will never be discovered, because if it was, surely someone would go back in time and take advantage of such generous odds?
4) If we ever invent time travel, we could theoretically use it to preserve food. Your refrigerator could suspend food in time instead of keeping it cool. You could even make a hot meal and two months later eat it straight out of the fridge, still hot!
Earth is traveling through the universe. |
6) If I could time travel back in time and talk to my 20 year old self, even after the mind blowing shock of realising my older self had somehow time traveled and was standing in front of me, I still wouldn't listen to my older self's advice.
7) If we ever invent faster-than-light travel, all future historians will need to do to confirm historical events is fly really far from Earth and then watch as light from important time periods reaches their location.
8) It would be really cool if a time travel movie franchise released the sequel first.
Time travel. |
10) Time travel in fact does exist and always has. We're all time travelers. However, we can only travel in one direction, i.e. forward in time, and we do so one second at a time.
