The Fudgemuffin search engine

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog has an exciting new announcement. I'm launching my own search engine!

After carefully considering what to name it, I eventually decided to name it after myself ... Fudgemuffin!

The 'Fudgemuffin' search engine.

Business ideas such as this one cost a considerable sum of money to get up and running, but I've got a lot of confidence in this venture. I've therefore invested several thousand pounds into the project, so hopefully it goes well.

The 'Fudgemuffin' search engine has only been up and running for a short time, so obviously as you'd expect the traffic volume has been fairly small so far. However, Google also started small, and look where they are today!

If you'd like to check out the Fudgemuffin search engine for yourself then give it a click at the link below:

If you're struggling for ideas as to what to search for, then might I suggest some of the weird and bizarre searches which have been highlighted previously on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog, such as, 'Dinosaurs were made up by the CIA to discourage time travel' or 'My PC is on fire'.

Anyway, if things go well then maybe in a few year's time instead of saying, 'Just Google it,' people will be saying, 'Just Fudgemuffin it'!

Scroll down the page for further details regarding the 'Fudgemuffin' search engine...

As cool as it would be to have my own search engine, sadly it's just a joke! I haven't actually invested thousand of pounds into creating my own search engine. It's just an April Fools / non-date specific fools prank!*

* Delete as appropriate depending on when you're reading this.

In actual fact I just used the eglogo.com website to create my own personalised search engine. Anyone can create their own search engine using the link below:

www.eglogo.com

Just click on the link then type in the name you'd like to use for your search engine. You can then share the link and fool people that you've created your own search engine!

Here are some other silly examples that I made:

1) Flippity Floppity

Why not call your search engine something ridiculous, such as 'Flippity Floppity'?

www.flippetyfloppity.com

2) Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

A successful search engine should have a catchy name ... so what better name to call it than to name it after the Welsh town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!

www.llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.com

3) Splurgedy Floop Bloop

Instead of telling people to 'Google it', imagine instead telling them to 'Splurgedy Floop Bloop it'.

"Don't know the answer?"
"Just 'Splurgedy Floop Bloop' it."

Footnote: The 'eglogo.com' search engine is actually just the Google search engine with a personalised display, so if you want to use the 'Fudgemuffin' search engine, the results will be just the same as they would be from Google.
