Random thoughts (part 9)

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog features another selection of random thoughts covering such random subjects as electricity, middle names, and Photoshop.

But first, here's a worrying thought about washing up liquid...

Random thoughts.

1) Pro-Bacterial?

Persil washing up liquid is available in regular Persil and 'Persil Anti-Bacterial'.

What does that say about regular Persil? Does regular Persil allow bacteria to flourish?

2) The unnamed eel

What was the electric eel called before electricity was discovered?

Winnie Xi Pooh.

Tune in next week when I'll be giving tips on
how to reduce your blog traffic in China!

3) Misleading title

Why was Knight Rider called Knight Rider? Michael Knight was the driver. The car's name was Kitt. Surely it should have been called Kitt Rider.

4) Charles the Fudgemuffin

Winnie the Pooh, Gandalf the Grey, and Sonic the Hedgehog all have the same middle name!

5) Indestructible

I've seen rusty cars, rusty bikes, and rusty bridges, but I've never seen a rusty frying pan. The obvious conclusion is that maybe we should build everything out of frying pan metal!

6) Let it flow

Tap water is the original streaming service.

A hedgedog.
A real creature which definitely wasn't photoshopped
because photoshop hasn't been invented.

7) Mischief maker

The creator of Photoshop could have got up to so much mischief if they never told anyone about it!

8) Act your age!

When I was at school teachers would often tell children who were acting childish to 'act their age'. However, when children act childish, they are acting their age!

9) Applausable fact

If 👏 you 👏 put 👏 clapping 👏 emojis 👏 between 👏 every 👏 word, 👏 it 👏 makes 👏 what 👏 you 👏 say 👏 an 👏 indisputable 👏 fact! 👏 #sarcasm
A teddy bear wearing a top around its middle.

10) False advertising

Does anybody else think it's weird that t-shirts and jumpers are called 'tops'?

I can understand why trousers are called 'bottoms', but surely hats should be called 'tops', and t-shirts and jumpers should be called 'middles'.

  1. Technically, the Photoshop comment isn't true. All photos have forensic data, so any tech savvy person could analyse the photo to see if it was genuine or a fake. Same with videos.

Yes, but if there was no such thing as photoshop then there wouldn't be fakes, therefore there would be no reason to check the forensic data.
