1) Kevin Magnusson and a banana...
Former formula 1 driver Kevin Magnusson showed his sense of humour when he tweeted the following separated at birth photo...
I split my sides when I first saw this photo! Maybe he should be renamed Kevin Magnesium.*
* Editor's note: "Because bananas are rich in magnesium."
Charles: "You didn't have to explain that. This blog attracts intelligent readers!"
Editor: "Sorry ... I slipped up."
Charles: "Badum, tsch!"
Charles: "Badum, tsch!"
2) Carl Fredricksen (the old dude from Up) and a random real life old dude
The likeness in this next separated at birth comparison is amazing...
It's such a similar likeness that it's as if the Up animators used the real life old dude as their model for creating the character of Carl Fredricksen (the old dude from Up).
3) Jupiter and ducks
Jupiter bears a remarkable similarity to a group of ducks seen through a telescope...
To be fair, this is an example that only works if you have a quick glance, but it made me smile nonetheless.
4) Winnie The Pooh and Emperor Xi
As I'm sure all members of the Chinese Communist Party will agree, this next separated at birth comparison is such an incredible likeness that I can't help thinking that they're actually the same person...
On an unrelated note, come back next week when I'll be giving tips on how to reduce your website traffic in China!
5) Sydney Opera House and dirty dishes
Here's another uncanny resemblance...
In all seriousness, I've visited the Sydney Opera House and in real life it's far more impressive than a pile of dirty dishes!
6) Long haired dog and a mop
Finally, when I first saw this last separated at birth comparison, I thought the image on the left had to be a mop, but I promise you, it is actually a dog!
And if you still don't believe me, then here's the video proof. Click the link below to watch the mop magically transform into a long haired dog:

That's it for this week. Usually I round things off with a few links to similarly themed blog posts. However, this is my first 'separated at birth' blog post, so instead here's a link to my tenuously related short story 'The Boy With Two Heads':
