10 weird websites (part 2)

I often like to recycle ideas on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog, and this week is no exception! This week's blog post is based on a theme that I've featured before ... weird websites.

So without further ado, here's another batch of 10 weird websites...

1) Windows 93

Windows 93
If you're in a technology shop and you want to play a sneaky trick, then go to the website below on one of the display PCs, and it will appear as if the computer is running Windows 93! It's so authentic that you even get the old Windows start up jingle!

As an added bonus if you click on the icons each icon brings up a weird 'app'. I highly recommend playing a few games of 'BrianSweeper' and seeing how well you do. I completed it on expert on my first go! #NotReally

2) Screaming goat piano

"Bleat! Bleat! Bllleeeeaaatttt!!!"
I'm sure everyone reading this has at one time or another thought to themself, "If only I could play a piano which makes the noise of a screaming goat."

Well, good news! You're in luck! Somebody has created a website to cater to your wishes and created a website which lets you play a piano which makes screaming goat noises!

3) Follow my eyes

"Look over here."

This next website features an extremely realistic animated Japanese woman who follows your mouse around the screen. It's actually scary how realistic she looks.

Click the link below and then move your mouse pointer around the screen to give it a try.

Note: The website requires flash to work, so you may want to make sure your flash player is up-to-date before checking it out.

4) Celebrities with no eyebrows

An eyebrowless 'celebrity'.
(The one on the right.)
If you're the sort of person who often wonders what celebrities would look like if they had no eyebrows, then you're going to love this next website! It's a website called 'Celebrities with no eyebrows', and as you'd expect, it features various photos of celebrities with their eyebrows photoshopped out of the photo.

And if you really want to get into the spirit of things you can even submit your own photos of celebrities with no eyebrows.

5) Low, low, low

This next website is named 'Falling, falling,' and it's a very appropriate name because it displays screen after screen of colour screens falling backwards into the screen. However, in addition to the visual reference to falling, the colourful imagery is also accompanied by a retro futuristic tone which keeps getting lower and lower and lower, seemingly forever.

6) Rewind DVDs

DVDs.
Or as they call them in Holland, DVDs.
If you live a busy hectic life, and you don't have time to rewind your own DVDs, well there's now a website that does it for you!

Simple mail them your DVD and they'll rewind it, then return the DVD to you. And they've had some great reviews:

"I received the wrong DVD back. Your customer service representative sounded drunk and swore at me."
...George in Edmonton

7) Doughnut kitten

Doughnut kitten.
The doughnut kitten website does exactly what it says on the tin, as it features a kitten on a doughnut floating across the screen.

That's all there is to it, but I found that watching a kitten float across the screen on a doughnut is a strangely nice way to chill out and relax.

8) The Broof pirate

"Broof!"

This next link is a ridiculous website which features a weird pirate making strange 'broof' noises. In a peculiar way it reminds me of a Monty Python-esque scene, and I call the dude making the strange noises the Broof Pirate.

Check it out to see exactly how weird it is:

Note: The Broof Pirate website also requires flash.

9) Motion sickness

Tubular motion sickness
If, for some strange reason, you want to give yourself motion sickness, then you may find this next website of use.

somethingopen.com

It features various tubes slowly zooming towards the screen, and I'm not a doctor, but if you're prone to epilepsy then it may be wise to give this one a miss.

10) Blank sheet of paper

Finally, here's another website that does exactly what it says on the tin:
