Photoshopped Or Real?

This week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog takes a look at a few random photos ... but have they been photoshopped, or are they real?

You can find the answers at the bottom of the page.

1) Quarterly Colours

When I first saw this photo I instantly assumed it was four separate photos which had been photoshopped together.

But on closer inspection perhaps not every quarter has been photoshopped?

Photoshopped or real?

2) Floating dude

Does this dude have magical floating powers, or has he been photoshopped into the photo?

Photoshopped or real?

3) Time portal

Is this watch about to open a portal into another dimension?  Or has it been photoshopped?  Or is there another explanation?

Photoshopped or real?

4) Flying ducks

What's going on here?  Flying ducks?  Weird photoshopping skills?  Or something else?

Photoshopped or real?

5) Little woman

Is he really holding a little woman in his hand?  Or has it been photoshopped?  Or is there another explanation?

Photoshopped or real?

Answers:

As you might have guessed these are all real photos.  Here's a bit more information about each photo...

1) Quarterly colours

To give a slightly different perspective, here's another photo of number one taken at the same spot but during the winter and at night.

2) Floating dude

This photo was taken by Helen In Wonderlust who runs a travel blog, and also runs small group tours for various locations in Africa, and it's a real photo! The photo was taken on a beach in Zanzibar, and it was captured at just the right moment during a dance display by some very acrobatic dancers.

You can see more cool acrobatic photos at the link below:
Things to do in Stone Town (when you only have two days).

3) Time portal

In actual fact this is a real photo, but the watch isn't about to open a portal into another dimension.  The camera just caught the reflection from the trees above.

4) Flying ducks

This one was a real photo, but the ducks weren't flying.  They were floating on a lake.  The photo was upside down, and it makes a lot more sense when you see it the right way up...

As most people probably worked out, the sky was just reflected on the lake.

5) Little woman

This is another real photo.

When you look closely you can see that he's actually holding a battered shrimp in his hand, but the camera angle has caused the shrimp to blend in with the woman in the background.

Footnote: The answer to last week's question is 42! Honestly, I'm not joking! That's really the answer! I'll explain in more detail in a future blog post.
