Funny signs (part 3)

It's been quite some time since the last batch of funny signs featured on the Charles Fudgemuffin blog, so here are a few more...

1) Funerals or potatoes

To start things off, here's a sign from a company offering a strange combination of services...

"For funerals or potatoes please come to side door."

Husband: "I'm just off to Mick's funeral."
Wife: "Get some potatoes while you're there."

'Guess the sign' quiz

Signposts are a part of everyday life. They're also quite boring, so you may be wondering why I've decided to have a quiz on them!

Well, although the majority of signs are indeed boring, the signs featured in this week's quiz all appealed to my daft sense of humour.

The text from each of the following signposts has been deleted, so see if you can guess what each sign originally said...

1) African Sign

This first sign is an amusing sign from Africa.  I've erased the text, but bearing in mind the antelope silhouette, can you guess what the sign originally said?

Yes, that's right!  As you've probably guessed the sign says...

Yet more signs from around the world

Another batch of noteworthy signs...

As the title suggests, this post is a follow up to my previous posts entitled Signs from around the world, More signs from around the world and Even more signs from around the world’. For the avoidance of any doubt, it features yet more photos of signs from around the world.

I'll start things off with a sign found in the window of a local mobile phone shop which makes a bold and perhaps controversial claim...

1) The perfect anniversary gift!

If you're a husband who is searching for a romantic special gift for
your wife for a memorable event such as an important wedding anniversary or birthday, then I've got the perfect suggestion. What could be more romantic than...

...getting your wife's mobile phone unlocked!?

Mobile phone unlocking...  The perfect romantic gift for a 25th wedding anniversary.

After all, as the sign says, "The perfect gift for any occasion!" I'm sure a wife celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary would be absolutely delighted with such a romantic gift!

Even more signs from around the world

Crocodiles, unnecessary epithets and draconian punishments.

Following on from my previous posts entitled ‘Signs from around the world’ and ‘More signs from around the world,’ I’ve now collected together even more photos of signs from around the world. After much thought I've decided to call this post ‘Even More Signs From Around The World.’

1) God loves everyone. Even solicitors!

The first photo is a religiously themed photo which demonstrates that apparently God’s love knows no limits.

God loves everybody. Even solicitors, apparently.

More signs from around the world

Or to provide a more accurate description…  'More signs, menus, t-shirts and ice creams from around the world'.

Following on from my previous post entitled, ‘Signs From Around The World,’ I’ve now collected together some more photos of signs from around the world. After much thought I decided to call this post, ‘More Signs From Around The World’.

1) Childish translations

Let’s start things off with a very childish photo of a sign in Mallorca Airport.

I think it was a restaurant, but after reading the sign I suddenly wasn’t very hungry.

Signs from around the world

A few photos from my travels.

I’m a big fan of travelling and therefore every winter for the last ten years I’ve gone backpacking around the world. On my travels I’ve encountered a few signs which have caught my attention and so I thought I would post photos of a few of them on my blog.

1) An undercover operation

The first photo is a photo I took while in Krakow a few years ago and it was taken outside the Secret Service Headquarters, handily signposted to ensure people can easily find it.

The Secret Service Headquarters in Krakow, a very undercover operation.

I have to say, maybe I’m missing something but it didn’t really appear to be that secret.
