Confusing perspective (Cat edition)

It's been a while since my last 'Confusing Perspective' blog post, so this week I intend to correct that.

The good news for cat lovers is that this latest batch of confusing perspective photos are all cat themed! However, the bad news for people who aren't cat lovers is that this latest batch of confusing perspective photos are all cat themed!

Nevertheless, if you're not a cat lover, then I would still recommend that you check out the photos anyway. I mean, you might as well, seeing as how you're already here.

1) Floating cat

To start things off, here's a cat with impressive magical powers. As you can see, it's floating in the air!

Apparently, some people claim that the cat isn't actually floating and it's just a stain on the floor which looks like a shadow. However, I would recommend that you ignore those disbelieving people.

Editor's note: "Charles, those people are right. It is just a stain on the floor."
Charles: "No! Say it isn't so! I wanted it to be a magic floating cat!"

2) Long legged cat

Next, here's a cat with long inflatable legs wearing a green belt.

The cat looks quite miserable, but I don't understand why. I mean, how cool would it to be to be a cat with long inflatable legs!?

3) Cat and his shadow

Here's a cat sitting in the doorway. Judging by the angle of his shadow, I would estimate that the photo was taken in the early evening.

Oops! Apparently, it wasn't his shadow after all! It was actually another cat! Sorry, I got confused by the perspective.

4) Science has gone too far! (part 1)

I am sad to report that scientists have yet again gone too far, and have undertaken dubious experiments involving a cat that has been crossed with an antelope.

Disclaimer: Any animal lovers will be pleased to know that the cat hasn't really been crossed with an antelope. It's just sitting in front of an antelope themed pillow.

5) Science has gone too far! (part 2)

Here's another medical experiment that went too far. It's a frightening example where scientists crossed a cat with a lady to produce a cat lady.

Disclaimer: Any animal lovers (or lady lovers) will be pleased to know that the lady hasn't really been crossed with a cat. It's just a confusing perspective. Actually, you probably already realized that, seeing as how that's the theme of this week's blog post.

6) Cat Crow

Unfortunately, I didn't have six cat themed confusing perspective photos, so instead for this last photo I've had to include a crow.

Or is it?

When you look at the thumbnail sized photo, it does indeed look like a crow, but once you expand the photo, you can see that it's just another confusing perspective and it's actually a cat looking back over its shoulder.

Anyway, I'm not too keen on crows, so I'm glad it's a cat.

Disclaimer: Any crows reading this, please note, it's nothing personal. I just prefer cats. Also, if you're a crow that can read, then wow! Impressive!

You can find more confusing perspective photos below, and I've kindly provided two versions to ensure that both animal lovers and non-animal lovers are satisified:
