Random food thoughts

This coming week features an important date, because February 9th is National Pizza Day! Unfortunately I couldn't think of ten pizza related thoughts, so instead I've had to expand the net a little further afield for this week's blog post, and feature random thoughts on a variety of foods...

Happy National Pizza Day!
1) Buy a man a pizza and you feed him for a day, but buy a man two pizzas, and you feed him for a day.

2) If human beings did not exist, ducks wouldn't know what bread tastes like.

3) KitKat wafer cream is made of ground up KitKat misshapes, so how did they make the first KitKat?

4) Incredibly, as recently as 100 years ago sliced bread had not yet been invented. Sliced bread wasn't in fact invented until 1928.

This was how people made sandwiches in 1927...

5) Hash browns are socially acceptable with breakfast, but french fries for breakfast would be weird.
Yet they're both fried potatoes

Fried chicken.

Are you feeling hungry reading this week's blog post yet?
I'm certainly feeling hungry writing it!

6) If you make a complete dog's dinner of your new pet food recipe, has it been a success or not!?

7) The KFC twitter account follows only 11 people. The five former Spice Girls, and 6 people called Herb. (11 herbs and spices.)

You can confirm it for yourself at the KFC twitter account: @KFC

8) Why do we call seafood 'seafood', but we don't call land food 'landfood'?

Ice cream.
One kind of revenge most people would enjoy.
9) And on a similar theme, why do we call kiwi fruit 'kiwi fruit', but we don't call apples 'apple fruit'?

10) Finally, there are two sayings about revenge:

"Revenge is a dish best served cold."

"Revenge is sweet."

So presumably revenge is ice cream?
