Question of the day (part 5)

According to the experts, it's bad to ask questions. You should always just blindly accept the advice of the 'experts' ... even when they're repeatedly wrong on every imaginable subject!

'Chatoyant' is a cool word that we should use more often.
It means 'light reflecting off a gemstone', and it's such a mellifluous
word! Actually, that's another word we should use more often!
However, at least half of the following questions should hopefully avoid upsetting the experts, because this week's blog post features another mix of silly and serious questions.

Serious:

1) What is a cool word in the English language which is underused and needs to be used more often?

Silly:

2) Do they have pantomimes in America?

Oh no they don't!

Serious:

3) How would you like to be remembered after you die?

If you're a kamikaze pilot, then always remember to wear
your helmet before crashing to your inevitable death.
Silly:

4) Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Serious:

5) Of all the stupid laws that exist, which would you most like to abolish?

Silly:

6) If you're learning to drive in Wales, do you need LL plates?

Serious:

7) You can bring back only one person from history to the present day. Who would you choose and why?

Silly:

8) Do they have a word for 'schadenfreude' in Germany?

Multi-purpose compost.
Ideal for growing plants in, and for ... er, well
... er, for other non-specified purposes, apparently.

Serious:

9) Are we happier now as a society than in times gone by? Why not?

Silly:

10) Can anyone think of another use for multi-purpose compost, other than for growing plants in?
