Things that unintentionally made me laugh (part 1: 'Cute' dog names)

A cute dog, but what cute name can we give him?
This week's blog post focuses on a random website I came across one day which unintentionally made me laugh. To further explain, the website wasn't supposed to be funny, but my easily amused brain nevertheless found it very amusing.

The website in question was a website called 'Cute Dog Names', and as you might have already guessed, it's a website which generates a random selection of cute dog names for anyone looking for a cute name for their new puppy. It sounds like a cool idea, but I have to say, the website's idea of a cute dog name, and my idea of a cute dog name, are somewhat different.

To illustrate what I mean, take a look at some of the allegedly 'cute' dog names it suggested...

The weird and wonderful world of Google

It's incredible to think that as recently as 1997, Google didn't even exist! Nowadays pretty much everyone has heard of Google, so this week the Charles Fudgemuffin blog takes a look at the weird and wonderful world of Google!

1) Strange maths

To start things off, here's one question where I'm not convinced that Google is telling the truth...

According to Google, a pound a water weighs 8.36 pounds!

Silly tautologies (part 2)

When I'm feeling lazy I often use stuff left-over from a previous blog post in a follow up post, and this week is one of those weeks as I take another look at silly tautologies!

In summary, I've summarised the report in a short
summary comprising these five volumes.
As fans of tautologies will know, a tautology is when you use needless repetition of a word or phrase in an unnecessarily repetitive manner.

Here are a few more examples...

1) Short summary

A short summary? Surely all summaries are short?

If it was a long summary then it wouldn't be a summary!

A quick guide to 2020 for time travellers from the past

A new decade has arrived, so for the benefit of any time travellers who have came to visit the future (our present) from the past (your present), here's a quick guide to life in the year 2020...

1) The 'internet'

Harry the Hedgehog can now use the 'internet' to let all
his old school friends know what he had for dinner!
One of the biggest inventions of the future is that all the computers in the world are now linked up together via something called the 'internet'.

To explain the concept, this 'internet' can be used to access information on any subject imaginable, such as science, medicine, history, and other amazing discoveries about the world we live in! In effect, the internet is like having access to a massive million volume encyclopedia of information right at your fingertips!

People don't use the internet for this, though. Most people just use it to look at funny cat videos and to show your old school mates what you had for dinner.
