To further promote this introductory offer, I thought I would feature a few selected quotes from reviews of the alien comedy 'How To Save The World' books which brought a smile to my face...
"Charles Fudgemuffin may be the new Douglas Adams, but with a funnier name. Wicked and witty..."
...CDColl7 on amazon.com
"A fairly fast read, mainly because it held my interest. Very cute idea, lovely handling."
"Definitely keeping this one to read again!"
...D.Vaught on amazon.com
"I read the sample, and found it quite refreshing. The sample was easy to read and fun."
"The story has a clever plot and the author has obviously put a lot of thought into it."
"To sum up, if you like female anatomy, enjoy reading fun books, don't mind very long dialogue and endless Geordie accents, and are happy to read all of the other books, then this is the book for you."
...Steven Oberauer on amazon.co.uk
"Eric had me laughing all the way through with the things he got up to..."
"...one of those books that I just didn’t want to end."
...Sophie May on amazon.co.uk
"This book is a blast. Lovable characters, funny dialogue and not an anal probe in sight (always a good thing)."
"Would thoroughly recommend. Is an engaging, light hearted read."
...midlife crisis girl on amazon.co.uk
"How can you not enjoy a book written by someone with such a daft name!"
"Highly recommended for everyone. Buy it, you won't regret it."
"Money well spent and a guaranteed laugh."
"Read it and tell all your friends, should be made into TV. A little Hitch-Hikers Guide like, which is all good and ruder!"
...impressed on amazon.co.uk
Usually when promoting a book, authors cherry pick the best quotes, so in the interests of provided a balanced report, here are a few quotes from someone who didn't like the book:
"...should you be looking for a completely shallow, insipid and uninspiring book then this is the perfect book for you."
"I wish I'd followed my instincts after reading the synopsis & ignored the positive reviews."
...rarely review on amazon.co.uk
Yeah, I wish you'd followed your instincts as well! Then you wouldn't have given me a bad review!
|Not for prudes or squares.|
My advice therefore would be to download the first book for free from Payhip, and then if it turns out that it's not your cup of tea then don't buy the other five books. Actually, if you still want to buy the follow up books then that's fine, but if you don't enjoy the opening book then obviously it would be a bit foolish to buy the rest of the series. However, I'm happy to receive sales royalties from anyone! Even fools!
I would, however, provide the following note of caution for any readers considering taking advantage of the free download:
"Please note, 'How To Save The World: An Alien Comedy' is suitable for ages 18+ and is not recommended for prudes or squares."
As a final note, massive thanks to everyone who's left me positive feedback. After spending so much time and effort creating a book, it's an amazing feeling to think that someone actually wants to read it and it's even more amazing when someone actually gives you positive feedback! Like the saying goes, 'Positive reviews are tips for authors!'
And once again here's the Payhip link where you can download the book for free:

Finally, this was a photo in the paper last year reporting on what Prince Charles had to say about the 'How To Save the World' books...
|Prince Charles offers his opinion on the 'How To Save The World' books.|
For the benefit of any gullible people, I should perhaps point out that of course Prince Charles wasn't referring to the 'How To Save The World' books and he was of course referring to the birth of his grandson. Oh, well. I suppose a new baby is equally as marvellous!
